Baby Smiles

I just thought I would share this cute picture of Aaron smiling and cooing with my Mom at Bear Lake. It is so much fun to see him grow and develop a personality. I can't believe that he is 2 and a half months old already. Time really flies when you get little sleep.

Pizza Party!

We had a family picnic with Jen's Grandmother, Carol, and Jen's parents brought a huge Pizza from Bear Lake Pizza Co.

It was good clean fun. The slices were as long as some people's arms. It is one of the few times that two slices are enough to fill Stephen.

Then we attempted to get a group photo. It came off okay. In the end we'll probably have to swap a few heads.

Daddy Got a New Camera

Daddy has been thinking about getting a new camera for almost a year. Today he decided to drive to the store and pick it up. (For all you photophiles out there, it is a Nikon D300.)

Daddy had to test out the camera and see how many photos fit on one card, so he took about 130 photos in 10 minutes to fill up a 2 GB card. I was trying to sleep, but he still thought I was the best subject in the room. This is how I looked half-way through. "Are you done yet daddy?"

Bouncing Joseph

My wonderful Joseph. He is such a sweetheart and a cuddler. He loves to give hugs and kisses and just hang out with Mommy and Daddy and now his little bro too. He is my little sports buddy. I got him addicted to football last year. And we have been enjoying the Olympic trials all week. According to him all the swimming events take place in a big bath tub.

He loves to jump and bounce. Our bed and couch make great trampolines. We need to get a house with a yard soon so we can get him a trampoline. He love balls, sports and anything with wheels. He loves to be outside. One of his favorite activities is going for walks. He knows how to get to the post office from our house already. He things anything with Lighting McQueen or Mator is the best. He also can identify all of his letters and most of the numbers. We are working on shapes and colors now.

He is my buddy and so fun to be around. My life is better with him in it. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful son. I love him so much.

Little Aaron

I love the posts that my Sis-in-law did about all her kids when she started her blog so I thought I would do the same. Little Aaron is such a joy. He loves to eat. He would eat all the time if I would let him. He is starting to stay awake and alert more now. He will just sit on your lap and stare at the lights above your head. But he won't sit for long. His legs are really strong. He loves to push him self into a standing position. I'm not sure why, I don't even think he knows why he likes to do this. He loves playing in his baby gym. He lays there and stares at the toys. I think he is trying to figure out how to get them. I can't wait for him to start smiling and reacting to us more. We are so blessed to have him in our family. It will be fun to see him grow.

Brothers and Best Friends

When we were pregnant with Aaron a friend showed me a onseie and shirt she had made for her son and the baby girl they were about to have. They were so cute that I decided to steal her idea. We went to makeaonsie.com and made shirts for the boys. Joseph's shirt says "I'm the big brother". Aaron's says "Joseph's baby brother". It took a while for us to find the time to get pictures of them together in their shirts but I'm so glad we did. Joseph just loves his baby brother. The other day I left Aaron laying on the couch while I went and started a load of laundry. While I was doing this I heard Joseph start naming parts of the face. I went back into the living room and there was Joseph laying on the couch with Aaron pointing out Aaron's nose, mouth, eyes, etc. It was so sweet to see how gentle and soft he was being. I hope Joseph continues to be so nice to Aaron, but I know things will change when Aaron starts moving and grabbing.
