Halloween

I think I may acctually be caught up! Some friends of our threw a Halloween party on Friday. So we all dressed up for that party.
Stephen and I went as Ketchup and Mustard.
The boys were Tigger and Pooh Bear.
The kids had a wonderful time playing with all their friends!
The next night was Halloween. Joseph was not happy about taking pictures. He wanted to get out and go Trick-or-treating. So here are the two best picture of the ones I got.
I think they make a cute Tigger and Pooh!
We just Trick-or-treated to our town home complex but the boys still got plenty of candy that we will be eating for weeks!

Random Fall

Here are a few things in the last couple of months that we have done and thought we would share them with you.
Now that the weather has gotten a little colder it's time for the boys to start wearing their sweater and suit again. They looked so cute that I had to take a picture.
I love this shot of Joseph. He looks so grown up.Some friends of ours threw a Mormon Octoberfest. They gave all the kids these really cute hats. I just had to take Aaron's picture with his hat on. I wish I had gotten one of both the boys together, but Joseph was off playing with friends.

Joseph has a new love. The Leap pad. He got it for his birthday from Grandma and Grandpa Michaelis. Then Mommy scored a deal on ebay for some books and he has been reading with the books ever since.
Aaron has found a love of our air hockey table. He was hitting the puck on his own and acctually scoring some goals on Joseph.
Joseph scores!

Joseph's Birthday Party

We celebrated Joseph's birthday about a week late because his birthday fell on Labor day weekend. We had some family, some friends from the new ward and some friends from the old ward so it was a fun mix of people.
First we had pizza and chips. Once all the kids had eaten we did a craft project. I had gotten foam visors. The kids decorated them with foam stickers and washable puff paints.
Here are Max and Joseph decorating their visorsOnce we were done decorating we played a few games. The first game we played was hot potato. The kids really liked the game and had a fun time. Here is Joesph giving the potato to Abby.
Then we played pin the nose on the lion. Here is our friend Brad playing the Game.
Kennedy playing pin the nose on the lion. Then it was time to open presents.
After presents it was time for cake and ice cream. To make things easy we made cupcakes and had ice cream cups. But the kids still loved it!Aaron really likes cake!
Thanks to all that came to the party. We had a wonderful time and most of that was because of who was there with us!

The Fair

We took the opportunity this Fall to go to the fair. At first Aaron was wondering what was going on and where did all these animals come from.Joseph petting a pig.Look Mom, here is another one of those funny things!Where are the cows?Joseph got to pet quite a few of the animals. They really liked the bunnies.
Our anual tradition: Horse rides.
Here is Aaron riding Scarecrow.

And Joseph riding Joe.
Joseph with his Grammy.
The boys and I waiting in the hot sun for the Bear show. Here is one of the bears from the show. One our favorite parts of the fair is the "Helping hands on the farm." It's put on by the 4-H group. It shows the kids all that goes into getting food onto their plates.

Here is Joseph planting his seed. After you plant a seed you go to the other side and grab a plastic veggie of the seed you planted. You also get to drive the "tractor"

Joseph loves corn on the cob and this was really good corn on the cob.
Before we left we let Joseph go on one ride. He decided to go on the Train.
He was the only kid on the ride so he got to sit in the engine. He loved the ride!

Summer Fun

Just to catch up with what happened this summer while I wasn't posting. Aaron decided that spoon were good for more than just throwing. He will occaionally eat with silverware now, but only when he chooses to.We went on a lot of bike rides. This is when Joseph was still on his tricycle. But as you will see in a few pictures he soon graduates to a bigger bike.Joseph also developed a love for trains and making different tracks for them to run on.We found a new favorite place to go explore. The Aquarium. The boys love to see the fish and other aquatic animals.
Joseph found a new fun game he would push Aaron around on the Tricycle. Then follow him on the bicycle. And as you can see Aaron loved the rides.Aaron on the TricycleJoseph on his bike. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the bike he absolutly loves it!We had to get some new sand for the sandbox. The lid had blown off in the spring so we started having a garden instead of a sandbox. So we had fun rediscovering the sandbox.

We had some visitors. Uncle Jacob and Aunt Ashely. You can tell that the boys love hanging out with them!
We also had a picnic with some of my extended family. They played wiffel ball and Aaron loves playing with balls.
Here is Joseph batting a ball that Uncle Mark pitched.
Here is my cousin Megan holding Aaron who is getting a hug from Luke who is my cousin Matt's son.

Aaron loves to be read to and Victoria loves to read to him and Max.
Joseph and his girlfriend Anela. We watched Anela and her little brother for an evening. So we went and played out front and while we were out there Joseph and Anela decided to start dancing. Joseph, Aaron, Wyatt and Anela
