Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures from January and Febuary.

We had our cousin Max over for a night. The boys loved playing with their cousin. He loved playing with boys. (He has 4 sisters and his brother is only a month old)

We also enjoyed some corn on the cob. The boys loved eating their corn this way.
Aaron kept telling me to take his picture. This is what we got.
MMMMMM. Aaron loved corn on the cob so much that he kept chewing on the cob once the corn was gone. He got very upset when I took the cob away from him.

Christmas Morning

Here is how Santa lef our living room for the boys. The table cloth and blanket are hiding what Stephen and I got for each other. This way it is a suprise on Christmas morning.
The traditional picture on the stairs. Aaron looks like he hasn't woken up fully yet.
Aaron is like enough with this sittin on the stairs and getting our pictures taken I want to figure out what is going on down there.
The boys looking at the loot that Santa broght. Joseph loves his scooter.
Mommy showing the boys the Trouser Socks she got.
Both the boys got mugs with their names on them. They love using them for milk to dip their grahm crackers in!
We also got the boys coon skin caps. They love to wear them as they are rocking out on their electric guitars. Opening the huge box of cars that Grandma and Grandpa Michaelis got them.
The presents are opened and it looks like a hurricane hit our house. I love the after christmas devistation.

Christmas at the Bair's house

We had a Christmas Eve party with Stephen's family. Here are some of the cousins waiting for their gifts.
Miriam and Chris brought their new little baby Samuel. He was 1 week old. Aaron kept saying "baby" and trying to carry Samuel off. I guess he thought that Samuel was a baby doll that he could play with.
Joseph's favorite place to sit was on Desi's lap.
Aaron sure did love Samuel. Kept trying to give him hugs and kisses.
Joseph wanted to hold Samuel too. No, we are not getting them their own baby any time soon. They are just going to have to enjoy their cousin for right now.
Joseph was very excited to get the puzzel. He kept asking if he could open it and play with it now.
Aaron really got into opening the presents this year. He also loved what was inside.
Aaron had to help Joseph too. Joseph was not the biggest fan of the help. But they got some cute stuff from their Grandma and Grandpa Bair.

Decorating the Tree

Once Thanksgiving was over it was time to start getting Christmas out. The boys loved decorating the Tree.
Aaron smiling for the camera.
Now put the snowflake on the tree.
We ended up with a lot of ornaments on the lower branches because that is where the boys could reach.
Joseph took his job very seriously. He kept wanting more ornaments to put on the tree. For some strange reason he kept wanting to put them in the back.
Here is daddy helping Aaron put some ornaments on the top of the tree. The boys just loved looking at the tree. They were really good about not taking the ornaments off.

Thanksgiving dinner

I know that I am very late putting this up but it's better late than never. Things have been a little busy at our house lately. So we are going back in time to Thanksgiving dinner.
Above is Joseph and Aaron helping Grandma make the orange jello salad that we have every Thanksgiving. Joseph sure loved helping Grandma.

We rented the clubhouse at our Townhome complex. This way we could have a place that was big enough for all of us to sit down. Plus we had some friends join us, so we were a larger group than normal.
We had way more food than we could eat. But we sure tried to eat it all.
The table looking east. I'm not going to go and name everyone but they are my family. The famiy at the end of the table is the Pappas'. They are the friends that we invited to join us.
The Table looking west.
After dinner we have a tradition of takeing the kids picture (see previous post). The adults at these shoots are almost more fun to watch than the kids.
It takes 4 adults and 2 kids to make 2 kids smile!

Thanksgiving Photo Shoot

The photos don't really need much explanation. Our boys, Aaron (younger) & Joseph (older), are in brighter green turtle necks. Their cousins, Everett (younger) & Gage (older) are in sweaters that zip up. I hope I spelled Everett's name correctly.

It was pretty fun until we got to the white background. Aaron had had enough. I don't know if it was that he was tired and done, or the white paper scared him (he wouldn't stay on it), or both. But they are cute boys! Have fun.
